Master's of Counseling student looking to help other students!

Currently in my third year of grad school, I am seeking to obtain my Master's in Counseling degree and become licensed in the state of PA. I love helping others and while I may not be certified to provide counseling yet, I would love to share my strengths and knowledge with other students to help them on their own career and educational path!

I have 4 years of research experience, including running experiments, writing research papers, and compiling PowerPoint and poster presentations. Consistently throughout my undergrad and graduate experiences, the feedback I receive from my professors is that I am an excellent writer and I am always at the top of my class for presentations. I understand the struggles of being a student especially now in the COVID era we find ourselves in, and I am looking to work with you in achieving the goals that you have. Together we can do it!

I have done 6 research projects during my undergraduate experience at Arcadia University. I have participated in two poster presentations and over 10 verbal presentations during my undergraduate coursework. I am in my third year of a four year program for Master's in Counseling at Arcadia. I have completed over 80% of the program coursework and will begin my final internship in August 2021. I have a passion for counseling and psychological theories and techniques. I have experience working in crisis intervention in North Philly and some experience working in residential settings in Montgomery County.

I believe that you have the capacity and potential to not only complete but excel at the task or assignment you may need help with. My approach is to work together with you and reflect ideas to you so that you can come up with the best approach and ultimately the best final product! I look forward to working with you!
