Passionate Math Teacher and Tutor 7-12 Grade Math

I am finishing up my 6th year of teaching math and loving every minute! I graduated from Geneva College in Beaver Falls, PA May of 2019 with a GPA of 3.87. I majored in Secondary Mathematics Education and am PA Certified in 7-12 grade math. I am back on Wyzant after taking a break to focus on my full time teaching job at a PA cyber school. I enjoy working with students and most students feel very comfortable working with me.

My teaching experience includes Algebra 1, Math 8, College Algebra Prep, Pre-algebra 8, and currently Geometry and Consumer Math. Thus, those are the subjects I would be most comfortable tutoring in.

Outside of math and teaching, one fun fact about me is that I love music- especially musical theatre! :)

I have always enjoyed and excelled at math. Ever since I was in high school, people have told me I do a good job explaining math to those who don't understand. I enjoy finding new ways to reach different students and seeing what kind of learning works best for them.
