Hi. My name is Susyn. I have been a tutor for over 20 years. I tutor middle school, high school, collegiate and adult students.

I received my bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Colorado, and I was a teaching assistant while there. I received my MBA from UC-Irvine in 2016.

Hi. My name is Susyn. I have been a tutor for over 20 years. I tutor middle school, high school, collegiate and adult students.

I received my bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Colorado, and I was a teaching assistant while there. I received my MBA from UC-Irvine in 2016.

While mathematics, marketing, and english are my specialties, I also tutor in accounting, college/graduate school essay and application preparation, proofreading/editing documents, study skills, resume and interview preparation, general business management, personal management, and computers (general computers, Mac and MS Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).

I also have more than 20 years of Marketing experience working as a marketing employee in small, medium, and enterprise organizations as a CMO, VP of Marketing, and Director of Marketing, I'm also a marketing consultant.

I like to break things down into the smallest components and build them back up - it's the easiest and most fun way to learn. And I am eager and ready to help you gain confidence and knowledge so you become a master student and test taker. I also guarantee the student a minimum of a one grade increase if the student follows my tutoring program.

I have a very flexible schedule and will work around your schedule to accommodate you.

Please note I have a 24-hour cancellation policy. If you need to cancel in less than 24 hours, I am willing to give you a credit to be used for a makeup session if scheduled within 3 days.

College counseling usually involves college selection, college application preparation (including essay development) and financial aid application preparation. As a private tutor, I have helped students determine a secondary education path, helped them research schools and appropriate college fairs and other local events to attend that their schools of interest will be at, helped them produce a target school list, helped in college and financial aid application preparation, and helped create and edit their essays for their applications. I love doing this work because to see the excitement in my students' eyes to move forward with their college plans and get into the college of their dreams makes my day!

Back on track in Geometry, thanks to Susyn!

Due to a busy sports schedule at Paly, my daughter missed a handful of geometry classes last fall. A few low test scores later, her confidence in the subject was completely shaken. Prior to this year, my son had difficulties within several courses and the tutors being used were ineffective. This year with Susyn has been tremendously helpful, the errors that were occurring in previous semesters are currently diminished or non-existent.
