Hi, my name is Aaron K, based in Philadelphia. I'm a full-time teacher who has taught in both public and private school settings for the past 15 years mainly at the high school/upper school level and have spent the same number of years privately tutoring students in both their English work and SAT Verbal prep. My tutoring practice is an extension of my teaching philosophy, which seeks to empower students with the support necessary to develop strong, detailed arguments using clear organization and voice, as well as achieving steady growth in writing and reading skills.
I received my graduate training at University of Pennsylvania School of Education and hold a BA in English and American Literature and Language from Harvard College. Students with whom I have worked have enrolled in many top universities, as well as gaining further academic recognition - most recently, a Fulbright scholarship.
