I enjoy being outside on beautiful days going for walks as well as visiting new museums around PA. With COVID-19, I haven’t been able to visit as many as I’d like but when I am able to, I enjoy taking in the art and archaeology of each museum. During my undergraduate, I have been a tutor for Art history, European history, Russian studies, and cultural geography. I am very history oriented and enjoy the literature that comes from it. I look forward to spreading the love of history and art history with others!
I have taken a handful of archaeology and anthropology courses that allow me the ability to educate and reinforce someone on the topics. I have taken field archaeology, Inca, Aztec, and Maya, cultural anthropology, anthropological theory, as well as archaeology and prehistory. All of these courses have provided extensive literature as well as hands-on opportunities with software like QGIS or LiDAR. For a semester I also assisted in fieldwork on the search for collier's hut and charcoal pits.
Having a B.A. in Art History, I have taken the time to do the work required for a bachelor's. I knew in high school I wanted to pursue a career with a B.A. in art history. Apart from surveys, I have taken writing intensive courses as well as independent research courses within my years at Muhlenberg. Given the opportunity to show someone else the extensive art and literature that is out there, I would ensure they discovered as much as possible.
A lot of my general studies courses consisted of history classes. I always maintained A averages within the classes which lead to either exemption from the course's final due to my A average or
