I help students gain acceptance to top colleges by guiding them through every step of the college admissions process: college search, essay coaching, financial aid/scholarship guidance, activities list/resume crafting, career/major exploration, or managing the entire application process – timelines, deadlines, strategies to maximize chances of acceptance, whatever help you need.
For me, college counseling is a career that was born out of passion and conviction. The college application process is unnecessarily complex and stress-inducing. Therefore, every student deserves a dedicated, knowledgeable person to guide them through while eliminating the associated stress.
Following my passion I have spent countless hours building my college admissions industry knowledge base through reading, training, and other educational activities. Specifically, I obtained training in college essay coaching from one of the leading experts in the field. I visit colleges to learn first-hand what admissions officers want to see in applicants and I maintain membership in the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA) where I avail myself of professional development activities such as webinars, expert roundtables, national conferences, peer networking, and the Summer Training Institute.
Prior to college counseling, I was in the corporate world where I worked in Fortune 500 companies in various managerial, engineering, business analysis, and marketing roles. Recently I earned a second master's degree in professional counseling which I used to help many clients through mental health and life challenges. I have now shifted my focus entirely to college and career counseling. I have since helped students gain acceptance to Ivy League colleges such as UPenn, top private universities like Lehigh & Syracuse, and top public universities such as Temple, Stony Brook, & Pitt.
