I have been a Pittsburgh based producer and performer for 10+ years. I am a content creator of instructional courses at BassGorilla. I have played shows over the east and west coasts, and at festivals such as Big Dub. My productions have charted high on Beatport and Soundcloud, and have been promoted frequently by Hybrid Trap and Drop Central. I have played shows over the east and west coasts, and at festivals such as Big Dub. My productions have charted high on Beatport and Soundcloud, and have been promoted frequently by Hybrid Trap and Drop Central. I have been taught by SeamlessR, who described my mixing and mastering as exemplary and has used it in his teaching of other students. My productions have received high praise from the likes of Modestep, Kompany, Moonboy, Bandlez and many others. And I have graduated in music theory through a certificate program from CalArts.

I have instructed students of all ages, both in performing and producing. I teach music production with Ableton and FL Studio. I will be able to instruct you in learning sound design, song structure, vocal recording, organization, and workflow. If live performing is what you want I can instruct you on song selection, beat matching, crossfades and transitions using Traktor software, controllers and CDJs, while also giving you ideas on how to get booked. Whether you want to be a professional DJ/performer, studio producer, a mobile DJ, or just want to play for fun, I can help you gain the skills you need.

Amazing tutor

Harley in just a few lessons helped me to do the one thing that I have been struggling with for years: completing a piece of music that I felt good about rendering and sharing with the world. It may seem like a small achievement to many here, but for me it was monumental. My situation was that I was long time DJ wanting to produce music but just couldn’t seem to make something that made me confident enough to share. I was actually relatively proficient in Live even before the lessons but just could not develop a good workflow to make the ideas in my head sound like music. Harley’s immense technical skills and knowledge base has been covered in other reviews but what I found most amazing about her was her ability to be patient and empathetic while providing knowledge and technical tips at a rapid pace. Each lesson I would complete some portion of my project song while she held my hand through it and encouraged me along. While this was happening, she would provide me with so much information and insight about technical details and workflow that I came out of each lesson feeling more and more confident in not just the music I was working on but just being able to trust myself and my creative decisions. I can’t thank her enough for that.

Efficient, extremely helpful, totally worth it
