Patient, knowledgeable, organized

Kevin has proved himself to be one the most patient, knowledgeable and kind tutors to work with. My teenage son was struggling with some of the math concepts and as a student athlete was struggling in keeping up with the homework and testing as he would miss a lot of class for his sport. He helped to build his confidence up to where he even was surprising the teacher in class when they would play the kahoot game as he would be one of the top three winners in class. My son would start asking for me to make an appt with the tutor, which for a teenage boy who already had a full schedule, says a lot. Kevin was also available last minute as our sports schedule would change. When you can gain the trust and win over a teenage boy to help him build up confidence in his math skills, you’ve checked all the boxes in my opinion. Coming out of Covid online school was rough for some kids to then balance a full schedule of classes at the high school level and adding sports or any activity becomes a full balancing act and a lot of patience. I highly recommend Kevin for tutoring your child to help them achieve their goals.

Tutor responded:

Thank you so much for the very kind words, Tracy! It was a delight serving you and your son this Spring, elevating him to an even higher math level. Fundamental concepts were quickly understood, which provided a strong foundation for him to move upward ahead of the summer break. Being reconsidered by you both for the next academic year would indeed be an honor. Thank you for your trust, and I hope you both have a great summer!

Super convenient!

Kevin was great about dealing with my work schedule and getting my lessons completed before my test deadline. We also had a three hour time difference and he accommodated that issue, too. I highly recommend Kevin G. Five stars!

Prepared and helpful

Kevin made sure that he was prepared for my daughter’s session. He was patient and worked through the problems so she gained understanding. We highly recommend Kevin.

Sheila, 2 lessons with Kevin
Tutor responded:

Thank you sooo much for that wonderful feedback, Sheila! I enjoyed walking your daughter through the process of solving the problems in front of her: approach, structure, simplification, solution, and reverse the process as a 'checksum' to ensure that each step was accurately performed. I hope she's doing much better now, which encourages me to know that my students are reaching their next levels. My very best, Kevin

Great General Math review

Thank you Kevin for helping Jeffrey. Yes, he was a lot more calm and interested after the tutoring. You are the best with such patience - especially with Jeffrey being Autistic and in Spec. Ed. You are a great Tutor for him! I'm so grateful!

Jeffrey Allen, 16 lessons with Kevin
Tutor responded:

Thanks, Margie - With Jeffrey's positive attitude, I'm very optimistic about his future. Willingness to apply a best-effort while completing assignments is the key, and I can see that he is understanding the concepts to fundamentally understand the subject. :) My best, Kevin

Worked amazingly with a very shy and quiet young man. We are very impressed

I was not there. Kye needs help with math and that is what they will focus on. He seems very interested in getting this help so we are very hopeful.
