I have a 4-year degree in mathematics, plus a Master of Arts in Teaching (M.A.T.) Degree. I taught for Salem-Keizer Schools for 10 years and am now teaching middle school math and science at a private Christian school in town. I love math, however, and am always looking for tutoring jobs to help students gain an understanding and love for math as well! My specialty is Algebra, but can also help in pre-algebra, geometry, pre-calculus and trigonometry.

A consistent, patient, rewarding, procedure
Tammy is a wonderful tutor. My 7th grade daughter has a solid understanding of pre algebra and problem solving that she did not have before. It's through constant and consistent reinforcement of procedures my daughter and Tammy have connected, and my daughter is retaining because of this!
