I think the "secret" to successful tutoring is identifying and resolving foundational gaps in comprehension. Building knowledge is like building tower. If there are weak spots in lower levels, the height of the tower is limited. By strengthening the foundation, the tower can soar!
When students struggle to understand a concept, I can almost always find a different way of explaining the concept that can help you learn what didn't make sense before. I can help you with your curriculum or provide my own, whichever you prefer. I welcome suggestions from students or parents. I look forward to working with you soon!
