Hi everyone, my name is Emily and I am a passionate and driven student and tutor. I have been in school since...well...kindergarten! This May I will graduate from Lewis & Clark Law School (America’s #1 environmental law school) with a certificate in Natural Resource and Environmental Law. Before law school I studied environmental studies and global sustainability and political sciences at Northern Arizona University, where I graduated summa cum laude. While in school I have had a plethora of jobs, internships, and volunteer experiences, as well as have applied for (and been the recipient of) numerous scholarships. I have taken two years worth of legal writing courses and have been a member of Lewis & Clark Law’s nationally ranked Environmental Law Review for two years (law reviews review professional literature, which means I have a keen eye for detail). All of my experiences leave me extremely well-suited to help you/your child with college applications, scholarship applications, writing assignments, and more.
I will also note that I have a learning disability--ADHD--and am a first generation college student. Ultimately, that means that I know first hand that everyone approaches learning with different experiences and needs and I will be sensitive to the specific needs of you/your child. I look forward to helping you/your child fine-tune their work, build their writing skills, and boost their confidence.
Environmental work is my passion. I majored in environmental studies and global sustainability in college and in May I will have a Juris Doctor in environmental law. I have taken a wide range of ecology/environmental classes and am certain I can support you/your student with your ecology work.
