I am currently finishing up my undergraduate studies at the University of Rochester in Biochemistry and Public Health. I am planning to apply to medical school this upcoming application cycle, with an interest in primary care/pediatrics and early childhood intervention.
Outside of the classroom, I have been tutoring since high school, whether for chemistry, ACT prep, or working with children through literacy and education programs. I hope to help encourage others to foster a love of learning, and to emphasize problem solving as opposed to rote memorization and regurgitation.
I took the MCAT after self-studying for five months. I created my own study plan and accumulated a wealth of resources and tips, both for memorization, understanding content, and test taking tips. I scored in the 97th percentile, and scored 4 points above my highest AAMC FL score. I believe that I can help individuals with time management and passage understanding, which is critical for every section of the MCAT.
I hope to have ample communication with students and to ensure that I am working to accommodate their needs. I am easy to reach and have a quick response time. Please feel free to ask me any questions or reach out!
