I was not able to select jewelry making for my teaching medium on my profile, so that's why it says drawing.
One day, when my mother took me into a bead store in Portland for the first time, I knew that was it. I was obsessed with making jewelry from day one when I was 12 years old. One day, when my mother took me into a bead store in Portland for the first time, I knew that was it. I was obsessed with making jewelry from day one when I was 12 years old. It's over 2 decades later and I still make jewelry and beadwork. I know multiple weaves of chain maille, multiple stitches, and forms of bead weaving, and I know how to wrap and set stones. I'm still learning how to make other types of jewelry too by learning new techniques.
I am mostly self-taught, except for taking a few classes. I have taught professionally at Joann Fabrics and Crafts, and I have also taught friends. I have taught adults and teenagers, but I am willing to teach children as young as 10 years old.
What I love about tutoring is all of the new people that I get to meet as students
I actually teach jewelry making and beading lessons, but I couldn't select that when making my profile. People tell me they love what I make and that makes me happy.
