Hello Prospective Students,
My name is Tope and I am a first generation Nigerian American born in New York who specializes in soccer training and the proper nutrition to reach the highest levels of the game. I started playing the game of soccer at a very early age at the suggestion of my father. As a boy growing up in America I was influenced early on by my friends and peers to play other sports like basketball or football, but when I first played the game of soccer I was instantly in love. To be specific it was the freedom of the creativity that a open field of grass offered a young man such as myself to be free with my imagination. I continued playing throughout my youth in Champaign, Illinois where we subsequently moved when I turned 5 years old. I played at the two high schools that I attended, first at Culver Military Academy in Culver, Indiana, and also Centennial High School in Champaign, Illinois. I attended the University of Illinois in Champaign Urbana from 2002-2006 where I continued my soccer career and began my coaching career. In my senior season at the University of Illinois I coached the University of Illinois Women's Club Soccer Team to an eventual appearance in the 2007 National Championship Tournament in Tempe, Arizona. Upon graduation I moved to Chicago and started working full time and coaching in youth club level part time where I honed my skills in incorporating Nutrition, Creativity, Technical Acumen and Music into Soccer lessons. In August 2014 I was given the opportunity to coach the prestigious Walter Payton High School team in Chicago which I lead to a 10-4-3 record. I continued coaching for three years at Walter Payton Preparatory Academy in Chicago as well as UK International Soccer Camps/Clinics
My tutoring style emphasizes on incorporating Technical Ability, Intelligence, and creativity to a players soccer education. I truly believe that to become the best, you have to be believe that anything is possible and with the effort and proper attitude, one can achieve the ultimate goal
