My name is Meghan and my experience in French includes years living and working in France, teaching at the college level, and both undergraduate and graduate degrees in French studies. After years of immersion in the French culture, I am bilingual and am even mistaken by French people for being French.

As a language learner myself, I can attest to the advantage of taking lessons with a non-native language speaker, since a native speaker does not remember the process, challenges and difficulties of learning their native language. I can identify with the common mistakes and obstacles that English speakers encounter while learning French, because I went through them myself. Having taught English at French schools and universities and tutored students in French of all ages and levels, I have a thorough understanding of foreign language teaching principles and structure my lessons to accommodate the specific learning style and needs of each student, and I structure lessons to be fun and relevant.
