I was one of the top rated teachers at Kaplan and played an important role in developing training material for the MCAT. I've continued to be involved in the medical field teaching 1st and 2nd year medical students at OHSU Medical Center. During the pandemic, I helped my autistic child get through high school.

My style is caring and direct. There is nothing I love more than instilling confidence in my students and seeing that twinkle in their eyes once something clicks. We will start with where you're at and take it from there. You will learn high yield content and MCAT strategy through the use of real MCAT passages. I will help you review passages you've done at home and in the process show you how to do the same at home. I am also available to answer your questions via email between classes.

He has over 10 years experience teaching and tutoring for the MCAT at Kaplan Test Prep. He was one of the top instructors at Kaplan where he developed teaching material for the MCAT, and where he taught and mentored new MCAT instructors. Dr. Aidra has a BS in Biochemistry, a Masters of Public health and a Doctorate in Medicine. He currently teaches 1st and 2nd year medical students at OHSU he is quite familiar with the practice of medicine and what medical school admissions officers are looking for when interviewing prospective medical students. Encouraging and knowledgeable tutor

I have had an outstanding experience with Gabriel as my tutor for the MCAT. He has been my tutor for the last couple of months, and I could not be happier with my choice of him as a tutor. He is incredibly knowledgeable and focused on building a strong foundation of MCAT content, which is super helpful. He is especially good at filling knowledge gaps and using relatable analogies that make complex concepts much easier to understand and remember. He is also highly responsive, and you can tell he genuinely cares about his students. He was always quick to reply to any questions that I had during the week when I was reviewing material without him. On top of that, he is very approachable and easy to get along with. Very patient and helpful tutor!

While we've only had a couple of sessions so far, Gabriel has done a wonderful job at helping me through studying for the MCAT. He's already provided me while a lot of tools and strategies for preparing for the test in the most efficient way and explains any concepts that I don't remember or don't quite understand in a way that I can easily digest while not overwhelming me. He is very kind and approachable while still having a wealth of knowledge that comes from experience as a teacher and physician.
