I have been teaching French and English ever since my days in the Peace Corps in Africa, where I taught French and English as a Second Language. I graduated from Georgetown University in Washington DC with a BSL in French and Linguistics. After my Peace Corps service, I earned a Masters of Arts in Teaching in French and English as a Second Language from the School for International Training in Brattleboro, VT. . I taught High School French and English for 32 years and though I am now retired, I still love to teach. Currently, I am a volunteer ESL tutor at SE Works where I teach English to immigrants who want to learn English.
Language learning is like anything else; if you are willing to practice, focus and work on your own, you will ultimately be successful! I take teaching seriously and if you work with me, you will have fun but at the same time, you will be working hard to improve your language skills. I enjoy working with students at any level and my main goal is to help you be comfortable with the learning process. I truly look forward to working with you.
