Additionally, Janet is extremely accessible outside of scheduled lessons and answers questions promptly no matter when you shoot her a message!! She is truly a phenomenal person academically when it concerns the LSAT as well as just a great, genuine individual on a personal level. Janet is hands down the best tutor I have ever had. I came to Janet after using a big prep test company (blueprint) that wasn’t able to explain things nor work with me in the way that Janet did. I had already taken the LSAT twice and was going for the third time in order to raise my score for scholarships and was not excited about having to retake the test and truly felt like I was “stuck”. I came to Janet with an understanding of the LSAT but was able to find what I was personally doing wrong and build my own skills through the various drill sets, readings, videos, and one on one tutor sessions that Janet offers. I went from strongly disliking the LSAT to feeling confident and capable on test day. My one regret is not using Janet first, so don’t make the same mistake as me; a test prep company doesn’t care about you in the way that Janet does!!

Hearing about my journey through the LSAT, Janet was determined to gage my learning style and skillfully addressed my areas of weakness. She is excellent in all three sections, but LR was the hardest for me to combat, and she gave me handouts, and good practice techniques to make sure there were no surprises on test day. She also was a cheerleader throughout the whole process, encouraging me and supporting me to get above my goal score. I improved over 10+ points over the course of tutoring with Janet. Will recommend her to anyone going through a similar LSAT journey, where you are having a hard time break out of a score range.

Amazing LSAT Tutor!
I worked with Janet for about 3 months and had a phenomenal experience! She is great at targeting the specific areas that you need to improve on and creating a lesson plan to strengthen those skills. During sessions, Janet will thoroughly and patiently explain confusing concepts and answer any questions you may have. Most importantly, she is an extremely kind and empathetic tutor who clearly cares about her students and their success. Before working with Janet, I scored a 170 on the LSAT and was struggling to see any further improvement. However, after under 3 months of working with Janet, I was able to raise my official score to a 180. Absolutely could not have done it without her!

The best tutor for the LSAT and for admissions
Before I met Janet, I was struggling with the LSAT. I had tried buying books and even meeting with other tutors, but it didn't help at all. That all changed when I met Janet. Unlike the other tutors I met with, Janet took the time to not only understand my target score and schools I am interested in applying to, but also my learning style/thought process, and my personality. She was able to create a tailored plan that made me work through my problems and develop the confidence for test day. For each lesson, she was very patient and took the time to explain it so that I can understand the question/concept completely. Thanks to Janet's plan and guidance (for my LSAT exam and for my admissions writing), I was able to reach beyond my target score and get accepted into my target school. Janet is a fantastic tutor. I was consistently practicing in the 165-167 range and really struggling with Logical Reasoning and Reading Comprehension. I had three weeks until my LSAT and she helped me go from missing 6 to 7 in both of those sections to missing only 2 to 3. I came out of the October administration very confident in the whole test, something I wasn't used to, and scored a 172 and am sure Janet was a big reason. She was easily able to identify my weaknesses and helped me out so so much!
