Hi! I’m a certified and experienced educator with a strong foundation in upper elementary (grades 3–5) general studies and art, as well as experience teaching middle school. While I specialize in supporting upper elementary learners, I also enjoy working with middle and high school students, particularly in literature, writing, and art.

I bring a thoughtful, student-centered approach to every session, combining strong academic instruction with creativity and flexibility. I specialize in reading comprehension, writing development, and elementary math, and I’m particularly skilled at breaking down complex concepts into clear, manageable steps.

In addition to core academics, I am love helping students build executive functioning and organizational skills- from managing assignments to planning writing and developing independent work habits. These are often the skills that make the biggest long-term difference for students.

I am passionate about incorporating arts integration into my teaching. Whether through creative writing, visual art, or process based creative practices, I aim to make learning engaging, meaningful, and personalized. This approach is especially helpful for students who benefit from thinking outside the box or need a more creative entry point into academic work.

My goal is not just to help students complete assignments, but to help them understand how they learn best, so they leave sessions feeling more confident, capable, and independent.
