I completed my Ph.D. in computational mathematics in 2018 specializing in abstract algebra and cryptography. Throughout my graduate studies and postdoctoral work, and as an assistant professor in mathematics, I taught a wide variety of university mathematics courses and tutored students in even more, from college algebra to multivariate calculus, linear algebra, and discrete math.
I now work as a software engineer for an international company writing low level, high performance software in assembly, C, and C++, with further experience in Python and other languages. I'm familiar with both Windows and Linux, and many software engineering topics encountered in the real world that aren't often taught in school.
I'm passionate about both mathematics and programming, and love helping people with them whenever I can. I strive to take a patient approach when helping students, with the goal of helping them truly understand the material through the learning style that works best for them. I've helped many students discover their enjoyment of mathematics, and I can help you too!
