Hello! My name is Kaylee, and I am currently a graduate student studying Nutrition and Dietetics at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU). I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics from Oregon State University in 2025. My academic training has given me a strong background in biology, physiology, metabolism, and nutrition science, and I regularly work with scientific research and evidence-based health information in my graduate studies.
I specialize in tutoring biology, nutrition, physiology, and health science courses. These subjects often involve complex systems and detailed material, so my goal is to help students break down challenging concepts into clear, manageable steps. I focus on helping students truly understand the material rather than memorizing information so they can apply their knowledge with confidence.
In addition to my academic training, I have experience supporting student learning in multiple settings. During my undergraduate studies at Oregon State University, I worked as a student advisor in the College of Health, where I helped guide students through coursework, academic planning, and study strategies. I also worked as a sports dietitian assistant, where I helped communicate nutrition concepts to student athletes and supported nutrition education efforts.
My tutoring approach focuses on explaining concepts step-by-step, connecting ideas across topics, and helping students develop effective study strategies for science courses. I aim to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and working through difficult material.
I have experience working with high school and college-level students and enjoy helping students prepare for exams, review course material, and build confidence in science subjects. I look forward to helping students strengthen their understanding and achieve their academic goals.
