I hold a PhD in Physics with a specialization in optics and applied physics, along with master’s and bachelor’s degrees in physics. My academic training provided a strong foundation in mathematics, including algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, and differential equations, as well as core physics subjects such as mechanics, electricity and magnetism, waves, and modern physics. In addition to my academic background, I have over four years of experience working as a semiconductor process engineer, where I regularly apply advanced mathematical modeling, data analysis, and problem-solving skills in real-world engineering environments.
My teaching experience began during graduate school, where I served as a teaching assistant for undergraduate physics courses and laboratories. In that role, I led lab sessions, explained theoretical concepts, graded assignments, and supported students in one-on-one office hours. I have worked with students ranging from middle school through college level, helping them build strong conceptual understanding as well as confidence in problem-solving. I tailor my approach based on the student’s level and learning style, breaking down complex ideas into clear, manageable steps and connecting abstract concepts to practical examples.
I focus on developing strong fundamentals while also teaching structured problem-solving strategies. Whether working with elementary students building math confidence, high school students preparing for advanced coursework, or college students tackling calculus or physics, I emphasize clarity, patience, and logical thinking. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades, but also to strengthen their analytical skills and long-term academic independence.
