Once I really understood the material, I started helping classmates who were stuck. After several asked why I wasn't tutoring at the campus center, I gave it a shot, and loved it. I realized I could take intimidating subjects and give people the time and space to actually learn.
My approach is simple: I help you connect personally with what you're learning. Many of the students I've worked with came in thinking the class was "just a prerequisite" or that they "weren't good at it." I helped them move past those stories and get comfortable—even confident—with tough material.
