My background is rooted in professional writing, communication, and project management, all of which have reinforced a precise and adaptable command of the English language. I developed these skills through several years of work in marketing, copywriting, and strategic communication, where clarity, tone, and structure were non-negotiable. As the owner of a copywriting business, I’ve spent significant time translating complex ideas into accessible language and helping clients express themselves with more confidence and intention. This work has deepened my understanding of grammar, narrative flow, and the mechanics of effective communication.
My introduction to teaching began when I worked as a substitute teacher in 2022. I taught middle school and high school students across a variety of subjects, stepping into full-time subbing for several months. I took on that role because I wanted to understand the realities of classroom teaching, support students directly, and explore whether education was a long-term career path. Although I ultimately chose to pursue opportunities in marketing and build my own writing business, the experience left a lasting impact. The desire to share skills, guide learners, and help people succeed academically has stayed with me, which is what brings me to this platform.
My approach to tutoring is conversational, personalized, and anchored in practical use. I rely on guided prompts, active reading, real-time feedback, and tailored exercises to help students understand not only what to write, but how to make thoughtful decisions as communicators. When students are interested in marketing or advertising, I draw on real project experience to show how strong writing, audience awareness, and strategic thinking come together in professional practice. Whether someone is strengthening foundational skills or exploring how messaging functions within a broader marketing context, I aim to create a supportive learning environment that adapts to each student’s pace and goals.
