After college I continued to pursue tutoring via jobs with both Mathnasium and Sylvan. I have worked with kids ages K-12 on all math concepts from kindergarten math to SAT math prep and college readiness pre calculus. I have found that lifting up students confidence in their abilities really helps them learn. My goal is to encourage student confidence and independence by starting lessons with more structure, and then slowly removing that structure over time until the student in fully independent with a concept.
