I have worked with students from early elementary through age 19, in both one-on-one and small group settings, helping with reading comprehension, writing, grammar, and study skills. In my professional roles, I regularly support learners with diverse needs, including autism and ADHD, using evidence-based practices and positive reinforcement to encourage progress.
My approach is simple: I start by identifying what motivates each student and use positive reinforcement to build confidence as they develop new skills. I break reading and writing into manageable steps so that learning feels achievable, not overwhelming. Parents often notice that once students feel successful, they become more motivated and engaged in their work.
