I’m currently a college student majoring in Biophysics with minors in Mathematics and Chemistry, and I’ve been tutoring students of all ages for over seven years. My tutoring journey began in middle school, where I helped classmates and younger students with math and science, and it has grown into a long-standing passion. Since then, I’ve tutored one-on-one in both formal and informal settings, including through school programs, volunteer groups, and private sessions. I’ve worked with elementary students just learning to read, middle schoolers struggling with fractions, and high school students preparing for AP exams in subjects like biology, chemistry, and calculus. I also offer SAT tutoring, drawing from my own strong performance on the exam and helping students improve both their test-taking strategies and subject confidence.
My teaching approach is patient, flexible, and tailored to each student. I believe that academic success comes not only from understanding the material but also from building confidence. I work to create a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and developing their own problem-solving strategies. I like to break down complex concepts into simple, manageable steps and make sure students are actively engaged, not just memorizing answers.
Because I’ve taken—and succeeded in—challenging courses myself, I understand how overwhelming certain subjects can feel. That’s why I focus not just on the “what,” but also on the “why” behind the material, so students gain a deeper understanding. Whether your student needs consistent weekly help or a last-minute study session before a test, I bring the same energy, preparation, and dedication every time. My goal is to help students feel empowered in their learning and proud of their progress.

AMC (Competition math)

AMC (Competition math)

I competed in the AMC 10 and earned the Best in School award, which sparked my passion for problem-solving and mathematical thinking. I am now a math major in college, with a strong foundation in algebra, number theory, geometry, and combinatorics. I have experience working with students on competition-style problems and enjoy helping others develop creative strategies and confidence. Whether you're preparing for your first AMC or aiming for top scores, I can help guide your approach.
Soccer

Soccer

I have played soccer since I was 5 years old and began playing on a competitive travel team at age 10. Throughout high school, I was a varsity player all four years, helping lead my team to the state quarterfinals during both my junior and senior seasons. My experience includes high-level team play, conditioning, technical skills, and game strategy. I’m passionate about helping players build confidence and improve their skills both on and off the field.
Speech

Speech

I have delivered speeches at regional science fair competitions and presented original scientific research to diverse audiences throughout high school and college. My experience includes both formal and informal speaking settings, including academic conferences and classroom presentations. I’ve also completed multiple public speaking and academic writing courses that have strengthened my communication skills. I enjoy helping students gain confidence in presenting complex ideas clearly and effectively.
Track & Field

Track & Field

I have several years of experience as a competitive track and field athlete, specializing in middle-distance and sprint events. I qualified for the regional meet in the 800 meters and competed at the regional level in the 4x400 meter relay. I also have training and race experience in the 100 and 200 meter sprints, giving me a well-rounded understanding of sprint mechanics, race strategy, and conditioning. I'm passionate about helping athletes improve their technique, build endurance, and reach their goals.
