I’ve taught Japanese language and school subjects (math, English, essay writing, reading comprehension, etc.) in both English and Japanese, as well as test prep for exams such as Eiken, TOEIC/TOEFL, SSAT/PSAT, and Japanese junior high, high school, and college entrance exams—including interview prep.

I hold a BA in English Communications from a Japanese university, completed a 420-hour Japanese language teaching certificate course in Japan, and have taught for over 20 years in private academies, classroom settings, and as a private tutor.

I’ve worked with a wide range of students from the US, Japan, and Korea, including expat children and professionals working for Japanese companies.
