Before moving to the Medford area, I worked for six years as an English tutor at Portland Community College. I helped students with writing, reading, vocabulary, and speaking. I am TESOL/TEFL certified and very experienced at teaching English to ESL/ESOL students. I graduated summa cum laude (highest honors) with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and summa cum laude with a Master's degree in Psychology and Multicultural Education. I also spent two years as a teacher's assistant for two Women's Studies courses at PSU, so I can also tutor in the fields of Sociology or Social Work.

Amazing tutor

I am retaking the ACT so that I can get better scholarships. Adrienne helped me study for the English part. I've been really nervous about it since I did so badly on it the first time. Adrienne really believed in me and helped me feel like I could succeed. We mostly worked on reviewing grammar and punctuation rules, but she also helped me by giving me hints for finishing the section in time to review my answers. We did a bunch of practice questions together until I could get a much better score on my own. I'm so happy that I decided to get a tutor! I know that I will get a great score! Thank you so much for helping me!
