With over thirty years of practical experience, twenty of which include operating a portrait and wedding studio in the Northwest, I am well qualified to teach the technical and creative craft of photography.
In addition to operating a successful photography studio for over two decades, I have served as a Photo Coach for Bella Pictures, a national wedding photography company. My responsibilities in this role included traveling throughout the United States to certify other photographers and conduct creative and technical seminars. I co-partnered the Northwest Photographic Institute, a college-level private school that emphasized a holistic vocational approach to gaining the necessary skills to become an entrepreneur in the business of photography.
For the past two years I have conducted a highly successful series of community education classes for Rogue Community College in Medford, Oregon, teaching students from the ages of high school to retired senior citizens. I'm excited to currently be working on a high priority visual project for a nationally known artist in Boca Raton, Florida and hope to contribute to the local area by offering high quality education and positive encouragement to those with a passion for photography. I sincerely hope to bring a fresh perspective and refreshing educational opportunity to the area.
