My nursing career experience includes work in small rural hospitals and small medical clinics to very large multispecialty clinic. I have worked as support nurse in many specialties, plus seven years in home health/hospice and three years as a Public Health Nurse on a large Native American Reservation. My specialty area is Community Health, professional networking, and professional writing.
I mentor and teach because I care about the success of my individual students. My initial goal is to understand how each student is best able to learn and retain new information. My patience is long, my feedback and coaching are thoughtful. My knowledge base is wide and sense of humor is strong. Student feedback from my years of online teaching reports that I strive to make information relevant to real life, and guide students to see topics from various perspectives.
