Using the Kistler basics, she has been able to assist students to create real-looking drawings and paintings with positive reinforcement, and has taught in the Portland area for 10 years.
She has taught in class settings, after school settings, in private homes, recreational centers and art galleries. She has conducted several art camps with children's art shows at the end of each camp. Many of her students in the Portland area went on to study design and art history at the college level, and soon found themselves gainfully employed in the field of art.
She has a love of art that she enjoys passing on to her students in a positive manner.
