Born in Mexico City, I moved to the United States in 2001 and hold a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations from the University of Baja California. My curiosity about the world led me to live in France, where I learned French, adding a third language to my repertoire and deepening my understanding of cultural and linguistic diversity.
For over two decades, I have tutored adults one-on-one, tailoring each lesson to my students’ individual levels, needs, and interests. I’ve guided dozens of students on their journey to fluency, and many have remained with me for years because of my practical, results-driven approach. In 2022, I expanded my teaching experience by serving as the sole Spanish teacher for Our Lady of the Lake Catholic School, where I taught Spanish to more than 230 students from Kindergarten through 8th grade. While I cherished the opportunity to design and implement comprehensive study plans for multiple grade levels, I found that my heart truly lies in personalized, one-on-one instruction.
What sets me apart as a tutor is my engaging, conversational teaching style. While I cover the technical aspects of language learning, my primary focus is on building your confidence to communicate naturally and effectively. Conversation is key—not only to mastering the language but also to training your brain and vocal cords to let your heart speak in Spanish.
