I spent three years as a teaching assistant, during which time I realized the more deeply a student can engage with the material, the easier it will be for them to learn. Through my years of experience, I have found that the best approach is to help the student break problems down into smaller pieces that they have the tools to solve. This not only helps students solve the problem at hand but also ensures they understand the material and to apply it to future concepts and problems.
My years of experience helping students and a passion for better understanding how people learn have left me with the tools needed to be an excellent tutor.
