I'm a published PhD candidate with a master's in Prevention Science and 6 years of experience teaching students how to write and edit for a variety of subjects to different audiences. As a university lab manager, I have published several peer-reviewed articles, successfully funded my research through grant proposals, presented my work at conferences, and supported dozens of peers in editing and writing articles and dissertations. I know how to write for professional audiences, and in my decade of pursuing education, I've come to know the basics of writing through and through. I've helped students write essays for magazines, applications, and course exams, and I've also helped students write for poster boards and oral presentations. I've tutored middle-schoolers to graduate students, and can help you meet your paper goals. If there's a topic, there's a paper waiting to be written!

My approach is collaborative, positive, and growth-oriented. We'll start by getting an idea of where you are in your writing journey, your areas of strength, your areas for growth, and your short- and long-term goals. In my lessons, I begin by answering any questions students bring, followed by reviewing their work. I then provide students with feedback and editing support. Finally, I give students tangible and attainable next steps to work on together and independently, along with helpful resources.
