My friends and family often call me a professional student. In 2014, I completed my associate degree within my last two years of high school through dual enrollment. I wouldn't be where I am today without the help I've received from academic advisers.

Throughout my school years I've had many experiences with professional tutors and I paid attention to how they helped me learn. Visiting on-campus academic support centers has shown me many advising styles to help a variety of learning styles. I've been able to take what was learned in the support centers and tutor my fellow classmates at a pace best for them. Now I would love to keep sharing my knowledge through Wyzant. If given the chance, I will do everything within my abilities to better the students under my care.

I've completed the calculus series recently. Although I haven't had enough practice time with the later calculus sections to be the best upper math tutor, I have had plenty of time to master the basics through trigonometry. I've picked up tricks to ease the learning process along my way and would love to share them. Having gone through so many math courses, I can answer the inevitable question of "how is this topic used in the future or real life", give the student a reason to learn.

Math may be my preferred forte, but I can guide students through other courses as well, such as English. My high school and undergraduate schooling believed in having the best writing and grammar skills no matter the student's area of study. The excellent teaching I've received has let become one of the go-to proofreaders for my class. I know that most people have a disliking for grammar, but I find it just as interesting as math.

The sciences are no strangers to me. I volunteered to help people study for courses I wasn't in for the chance to learn new materials. I have many curiosities in most science fields. Science is dear subject to me, so I've taken as many courses as I can to give myself a strong general knowledge base.

I love to learn and if I can pass on my

Algebra 2

I've completed the calculus series, which requires solid algebra skills. Algebra is like a second language to me thanks to extensive practice and excellent teachers.
Elementary (K-6th)

Elementary (K-6th)

I used to help elementary students as a teacher aid while I was in high school. I was also one of the first interns for the new LEGO Lab at the STEMM Center in Valparaiso, Florida. For several years, I got the chance to help young students with their studies, both inside and outside of the classroom. I greatly enjoy working with elementary students, since they are the most eager to learn. My strengths lay in the math and science subjects, but I am certainly capable of helping in all the other subjects as well.

Patient and Kind

Morgan has been so great with my son. He is taking his ASVAB in a week and we are both more confident he will pass this time. She teaches him tips and tricks that help everything make more sense to him in math.

My daughter liked Morgan a lot

Prompt and went over the things she needed to learn. My only regrets are that she is not Local for us here and Portland Oregon. I needed to use 160 characters but I ran out of things to say. Thank you very much

Great First Lesson

Morgan worked with my daughter in grammar today. It was our first lesson and it was the first time I saw my daughter smile during and after her homework. Worth every penny today. Looking forward to the next lesson.

She is calm, has a positive and friendly attitude .

She is calm and positive. And she looks into new ways to help the student challenges. I think she will be creative in ways to help my son enjoy or at least get it done without struggling so much.

Terrific first session!

My daughter said that while her teacher at school focuses on the "formulas" in Algebra II, Morgan explained "why" the formulas work which made it easier to understand. She utilizes a white board while she is teaching that my daughter also found to be very helpful. She exudes a quiet confidence and a desire to help her student succeed.

Wonderful tutor!

My son has started working with Morgan on pre-algebra, and he feels she is very nice, good at explaining the math, very knowledgeable and patient with him. She is very personable and reliable--always on time and willing to spend extra time with him when needed.
