Hello! My background is in chemical and bioengineering, with applied research experience in both wet lab and computational settings. I have 7 years of experience teaching and mentoring across undergraduate and graduate-level courses.
I have worked as a graduate teaching assistant and as an instructor, teaching topics including engineering statistics, Python-based data analysis, and chemical and bioengineering laboratory methods. In addition to formal teaching, I have also mentored students and new lab members in research environments, helping them develop both experimental and data analysis skills.
Alongside my graduate studies, I completed a two-year program focused on college and university teaching, where I trained in evidence-based teaching practices and instructional design.
My teaching approach focuses on building strong conceptual foundations. I work with students to break problems into smaller components, understand how each part connects, and then rebuild the full solution from those pieces. My goal is to help students move beyond memorization toward deeper understanding and independent problem-solving.
