After receiving my Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of Tennessee, I earned a Masters degree in the same from Oregon State University. As part of my work at OSU, I taught and tutored undergraduate classes. After college, I worked in the corporate world in the engineering field for 27 years. After retiring, I followed my passion for helping students be successful in school and am now an Educational Assistant in our school district.
As an Educational Assistant, I work closely with middle school students to help them be successful in all subjects. In particular, I spend much of my time helping students with math and science. I believe that a one-on-one, face-to-face approach can be very powerful in helping students understand concepts that they are struggling with.
I have lived in Corvallis for 30 years, raising my family here, and am active in the community. I look forward to working with you to meet your goals.
