I have a doctorate in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. I did post doctorate in Biochemistry at OHSU where I discovered a novel transcription factor that I named as ZRAP. On further research, I found this gene to be important in Zn regulation (I was at the time studying Wilson's and Menke's disease). This work was published in the most prestigious Biochemistry journal called JBC Vol. 273

This includes all aspects of microbiology: medical, molecular, food etc. In addition I have done research work in pure microbiology for years and have publications in B. subtilis, V. cholerae, Salmonella and so on. In Celle, Germany, I worked with the team there to design a molecular method to detect Salmonella in poultry, Salmonella being the most common food poisoning organism.

In addition to being a biochemist, physiology is a strong subject of mine anyways, having done lab research for more than 15 years. In addition, I have been tutoring and teaching physiology to University students and Med students.

As a PhD in biochemistry, its mandatory for us to have zoology, chemistry, botany, genetics and anatomy and physiology as majors. In addition I am an MD in genetics.

Meenakshi Amazing Tutor

Meenakshi has been such a lovely tutor. I am currently in an organic chemistry 5 week course. This course goes over many topics in a short span of time, and meenakshi has helped me tremendously. By going through my lecture PowerPoints and recreating her own lecture notes for me, she helps me in an efficient manner to go over my content. She has helped me recently with the various type of one step and two step mechanisms. Additionally, she’s helped me with the E1 and E2 mechanisms. With her quick and helpful tips on being able to name compounds in their IUPAC name, I can now go through my questions on the exam a bit faster. I have already seen a jump in my exam grade due to her tutoring. I highly recommend her!

Professional and knowledgeable tutor

I had a lesson with Dr. Meenakshi Noll for Organic Chemistry. During the session Dr. Noll went over the Molecular Representations (Chapter 2) section and she was very helpful in explaining the reasoning and providing examples for the topics of drawing curved arrows and resonance structures, assessing relative importance of resonance structures, and determining formal charges for various atoms in compounds. Dr. Noll was very prepared for our lessons as I had sent her a list of topics ahead of time and she went through each of the concepts I had trouble with in detail. Overall, I highly recommend Dr. Noll for organic chemistry tutoring.
