Hi there, potential tutee,
My name is Mark, and I've been a full-time teacher at the high school level since 2002. In that time, I've not only taught in all different types of high schools (public, private, rural, affluent, and everything in between!), but I've also taught literally every level of high school math, from Algebra 1 through AP Calculus BC.
More specifically, I've taught AP Calculus since 2007, and at this point I am extremely well-versed as to what sort of material is on...
More specifically, I've taught AP Calculus since 2007, and at this point I am extremely well-versed as to what sort of material is on the exam, how it will be assessed, and perhaps most importantly, what will NOT be on the exam. My AP pass rates have been excellent at all of the schools I've taught in, and I am confident that if you are looking to get a good score on the AP exam, we can get there!
As for my educational background, I earned my Bachelor's of Science in mathematics/computer science from Harvey Mudd College, in Claremont, CA. I then received my Master's of Arts in mathematics from the California State University, Fullerton. I also received my secondary teaching credential from the California State University, Northridge, though that certification has since expired, as I no longer teach in California!
Whether it is Algebra 1 or Calculus BC help you're looking for (or any class in between), I would be more than happy to assist you on your educational journey. Please contact me for further information!
