As one who has a few more years behind her than you, I would love the opportunity to help you catch up on whatever you may want to improve upon, or study for when taking that all-important next step!! Having retired a few years ago, I have over 30 years of combined teaching and tutoring experience with learners ranging from elementary-age children through adults at the college level, in a variety of curriculum areas (including law); I hope to add YOU to my list of students whom I have served!

Many students whom I have helped were able to improve their respective reading skills ranging from mastering basic phonics to earning their GED's. Here is one example, from among many, of a review written by a pleased parent: "My third grader is getting more comfortable with reading each week. Patty has proven to be resourceful when finding different methods to approach each child and their unique learning styles."

Specifically, I have both a Standard Elementary Teaching Credential and a Specialist Learning Handicapped Credential; I also hold an MA Degree in Special Education. I am qualified to teach/tutor students within a wide range of age and performance levels in Reading, Writing, Spelling, and Grammar Skills, etc. In addition to developing curricula and authored hundreds of IEPs for Middle and High School students. I have also developed ESL curricula and taught children and adults individually - and in the classroom - who have benefitted from these materials.
