Amy P. joined Brown Mackie College, Oklahoma City as a General Education Professor in July, 2012. Amy began her teaching career as a Teaching Assistant at Oklahoma State University from 1996 to 1998, where she received her Master’s Degree in Speech Communication. Amy P. joined Brown Mackie College, Oklahoma City as a General Education Professor in July, 2012. Amy began her teaching career as a Teaching Assistant at Oklahoma State University from 1996 to 1998, where she received her Master’s Degree in Speech Communication. Upon graduating from OSU, Amy entered a Ph.D. program in Communication at the University of Oklahoma, where she worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant. Throughout her graduate career at OU, Amy also worked as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Central Oklahoma, Oklahoma City Community College, and Oklahoma City University. As Amy continued to pursue her studies at OU, she spent her summer months teaching at both Yale and Stanford Universities. Amy earned her Ph.D. in Interpersonal Communication from OU in 2009.
