As far as my formal experience goes, in my freshman year of college at UAFS I was offered a position as a tutor at my university’s writing center. In February of 2022, after completion of a rigorous 8-week training course, I officially became a certified writing tutor. Even though I have moved back to Oklahoma, I continue to attend UAFS, as well as work at the writing center, virtually. Although I have worked there for less than a year, I have taken over 100 appointments, and learned so much from my students.
