Hello there! My name is Paige and I am a young positive person who contains the patience and understanding needed to help your child become more successful in the classroom. I know the challenges of the pandemic and the teacher shortage in Oklahoma has made learning more difficult for kids today. I will make sure to answer any questions they have, explain fully the lesson and even have them repeat it back for me to make sure they have a great understanding of the lesson. Of course, I will have them do or practice as most learn hands on, as well as to have fun with it and to take a short break if they become frustrated! I look forward to somewhat of a challenge because it is so rewarding once figured out.
A little about me, I graduated from High School at the top of my class in 2011, I then went on to graduate from Seminole State College with a focus in Engineering. I switched my major to Agricultural Economics when I transferred to Oklahoma State University where I graduated in December of 2016 (Go Pokes!) I had some amazing staff and professors who have helped me along the way and I would like to take that with me as I tutor your child/children.
Throughout my college career, I was a math/science tutor for a summer at Seminole State College, I also helped students at Oklahoma State College with Economics homework for about a year and just last year, I was the head coach for a 12U baseball team. I have experience with helping most ages and I have always helped others with their homework.
I would love to see your child succeed and that is my plan for tutoring! I am currently in between jobs and need some income for the next couple of months before I leave for Minnesota for my new job but please don't let that deter you, I have a servants heart and love to help! I also would love to keep tutoring online once I move if I start tutoring with someone who continues to need my help. Helping and seeing your child improve will be the best thing I look forward to, I can't wait to meet and help you!
