Hello there! I'm Christina! I come from northern China, where people speak proper Mandarin.

I have been a certified language instructor for ten years. I hold a Mandarin proficiency certificate and I earned my BA in English Language and Literature from a Chinese university and I am currently pursuing my master's degree in the United States. My first job with an American charity inspired me to work with children, and for the past decade, I have focused on their education. I have traveled to various locations to teach; I previously taught at a preschool in Singapore and also co-founded my own school with my husband in China.

I have taught students aged 2 to 18 years, including some children with learning difficulties who were rejected by other teachers. I always consider my students' needs and prioritize their feelings, as I believe that a happy child learns more effectively. I am grateful for and proud of the work I have accomplished. After the pandemic, my spouse and I decided to return to the United States for our son. Since then, I have been working as an online teacher. I appreciate this innovative approach to teaching, as it enables me to connect with students from around the world.

Western learning for practical use, Chinese learning for essence is an old proverb. In my class, you will experience a blend of Eastern and Western cultures. I will offer students a variety of learning strategies tailored to their individual abilities, ensuring that they find joy in the learning process. No child is too young for me to guide!
