Over the past ten years, I’ve taught students of all ages in a variety of settings, including college classrooms, K-12 programs, workshops, and one-on-one tutoring. I’ve taught English at Iowa State University, Oklahoma State University, and Northeastern State University, designing engaging lessons that strengthen students’ writing, critical thinking, and communication skills. In addition to college instruction, I have worked with elementary and middle school students, led writing workshops for senior citizens, and traveled the country hosting hands-on generative writing sessions for diverse audiences. My tutoring experience includes working with learners with disabilities such as ED, ADHD, ADD, dyslexia, and dysgraphia, adapting instruction to suit their unique needs and learning styles.
