Hello! I’m Wasim, holding a BA in English Language and Literature from An-Najah National University (Palestine) and an MA in English Linguistics from Northeastern State University (USA). I also studied Drama and Intercultural Communications as an exchange student at Stavanger University in Norway.
With over five years of experience teaching English as a foreign and second language, I have worked in Palestinian public schools and currently teach at Northeastern State University’s ESL Academy while pursuing my master’s. I teach composition and work with diverse learners, including middle school, high school, and college students.
My awards include the Durham Fund for Palestine (IELTS waiver and material fees), the Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant (FLTA) award, a €12,000 Erasmus+ grant for study in Norway, and a full Graduate Assistantship Scholarship at Northeastern State University.
Subjects and Teaching Method
I specialize in teaching English language skills—reading, writing, speaking, and listening—tailored to ESL learners at all levels. My focus includes composition, grammar, vocabulary, and intercultural communication. My approach is student-centered and interactive, emphasizing practical use, critical thinking, and confidence. Lessons are adapted to each student’s style and goals, blending traditional and modern technology for engaging, effective learning.

I offer a free initial consultation to discuss your goals and design a personalized plan. Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling to avoid fees. I’ll send reminders of these policies before lessons begin for clear communication.
