I find myself strong in helping students understand the foundations of all Algebraic concepts. I have an unique ability to analyze problems looking for ways to solve by utilizing math rules and math properties to break problems into smaller chunks. I encourage students to use their current skills and abilities to think critically about different ways for solving problems.
I've been teaching for 14 years. I've taught Math courses from 6th grade math to Algebra II. I've taught Pre-Algebra and Algebra for the past 13 years. I have a Master's of Science degree in Teaching, Learning, and Leadership from Oklahoma State University. My undergraduate degree is Business Administration with a focus on Human Resources.
My main goal as a teacher is to lead my students to go deeper with math rules and properties to understand the applications for solving problems. If interested, I'm available for tutoring week nights and weekends. I'm available at 5:00 pm on weeknights, Saturday mornings 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, and 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Sundays. If needed for summer to prepare for the upcoming school year, my hours on weekdays will start at 1:00 pm. I look forward to teaching you a greater understanding of concepts in Pre-Algebra and Algebra.
