I started teaching in Deaf Education in Texas public schools, continued my education, and eventually moved on to teaching at the university level, which is where I finished my career. At Oklahoma State University, I was in the teacher education program, and taught university students to become Physical Education teachers.
My teaching style is interactive and active. I love to question students for understanding, and guide them to being able to apply what they have learned. Moving while learning has been one of my teaching themes, regardless of the topic.
