My teaching philosophy: Biology can be very difficult for students to succeed in at college, so in my courses I try to incorporate a few specific teaching methods to help with material. First, I write my own lecture slides and will provide copies of my powerpoints for whatever material you are receiving help with, Second, I have supplemental worksheet/guided notes that help narrow the focus and reinforce key concepts, Third, I use real world examples of complex terms used in biology so that it may be easily understood and applied.
